Join The Studio Orchestra
🎺 Did you play a string, woodwind, brass or percussion instrument in high school or college?
🎼 Do you want a fun opportunity to play again?
👵 Do you want a fun way to get volunteer credits, meet new people, and give back to your community?
The Studio Orchestra is looking for musicians to join us starting Wednesday, September 14!
All our members are volunteers and we perform fun classical & pops music, and broadway show tunes for the elderly population of Dane County.
We serve two populations:
1️⃣ We give our volunteer members a place to practice their instrument in a group setting and have fun while doing it. (YOU!)
2️⃣ We go to and perform for communities who can’t access live music due to mobility or monetary issues. (Nursing homes, assisted living communities, Salvation Army, etc.)
This is for you if you:
🎻 play an orchestra or band instrument at a high school level
🎷 want to pick up your instrument again
👴 want to give back to your community
👫 want to make new friends
🥳 want to play in an easy going, fun, non-audition group
We are specifically looking for: violin, cello, bass, trombone, trumpet, french horn, clarinet, flute, tuba, and percussion. But if you play any instrument, feel free to reach out!
